Quotations from Alexander; Alexeyev.
Space & Time.
Perception & Memory
DEH: I say that realism & idealism are both right.
S.A. Alexeyev.
Card-A-07-02 DEH: 1. The Past & Future are corrlatives. Thus: an object which I perceive at a great distance from me is future to me. My anticipatory senses reveal it as a possible influence in my future. 2. But what I perceive now is the past of the object, not its present or its future. What is for the star past, far past, is for me far future. 3. The space gap between me & the star is also a time gap. And as a time gap it can be read 2 ways, as future-wards & past-wards. …5… Thus everything you perceive has 2 aspects. (A) past, building up to present & (b) as future breaking down to present.

Personal Card-A-07-20 (about his son): An example: Julian will, as long as we both live, be to me a baby, an infant, a lad. Even as a middle-aged man he will have for me, in cumulative fashion, his baby looks & smile.
