Life then, through this enrichment by ever returning individual streams, has a reservoir of insight, knowledge & power for transcending what is normally available to individual minds. These powers latent in our unconscious, through which we are more continuous with the main stream of life than in consciousness…. This is why Life deliberately limits itself int he individual, withholding its full powers, so that he may be driven to acquire new powers for himself…
Card-G-02-10. DEH: Mabel helps to make Reality what it is. It does not merely discover the given. In Mabel, Mind, by becoming more conscious of itself, is changing itself.
