Gravity & Relativity
DH: Does gravity correspond to love? When you ‘gravitate’ towards an object you diminish with relation to it. It swells. This is characteristic of love. And does ;the tangential, anti-gravitational, force correspond to self-assertion, love’s opposite? Yes. And the tension between these 2 opposites is what makes the world go round. Tis love and selfishness that make the world go round!

Jefferies
Index-Card-J-28-06 DEH: Perhaps here Jefferies glimpsed the future, the immense world of unified Life, and the living, thinking, loving Earth, & the god-like Sun — now both products of & controllers of our every thought — yet separated from us by the veil —real yet unreal — of time. It is very wonderful this so-near-yet-so-far world, inconceivably sublime & superior to ours, yet the basis of ours, & just around the corner.
