Index-Card-M-01-13 The Mind is the World — in the end DEH The structure of the mind is in the end precisely the same thing as the structure of the world. In other words, the development of the mind is not something that takes place according to the mind’s faculties & laws of growth but according to the laws & characteristics of Objective Reality. — which turns out to be precisely the same as the laws of the mind. Really there is not mind & mind’s objects. I am watching a game of football. The laws of my mind’s behaviour now are (at any rate as regards cognition) the laws of the game of football. Mental development is, amongst other things, the development of objectivity.)
