Index-Card-M-11-01 Date: 1.45
Index-Card-M-11-02 DEH This passing judgement upon ourselves, what is it but becoming the others-that-see-us, & eventually society in general, and from that elevation observing ourselves. This is the sort of transcendence we have. The crest of our ‘periodicity’ [wave symbol] observes the whole wave. We are far more than mere individuals: we are very truly, at the the crest of our wave, society itself. To be human is to be this self-conscious, self-observant, to be partly Society.
Index-Card-M-11-03 DEH You transcend your narrow self, your self as private picture-head, by getting with others’ picture-head &, from there, observing yourself as the outer man. So well have you done this that you have forgotten about your primitive datum — yourself as p-h. To this view you must return, enlightened.
