You must become conscious of what is now an unrealised reality — the Whole of your mind. This is at once the realisation of yourself & of God. (To realise yourself is to realise God & here Egoism or growth & religion or ungrowth are one.)

Card-J-43-19 (82) Jung (IoP) Only when we have sunk to final depth, complete defeat, panic fear, when all crutches are broken do we come to the archetype of meaning — the wise old man. (DEH Between each archetypal level a period of confusion & chaos, dark night, before the new archetype comes [?] up. This is the chaos which comes between monadic levels in [symbol] — the dark nights of the soul which mean growth (or ingrowth) but anyhow motion.
