DEH You are liable to get held up on the way [symbol: zigzag evolution] Christian’s journey to Paradise: the Way: so liable to sidetracking. [The Way — picture on wall at home] One is so liable to think one has found the answer. Communist in idea of Man, Bergson in idea of life (?) & so on. Your supermonadic levels aren’t good enough. You stop at intellectual thought, science, etc - that is stopping at a super monadic level.
Index-Card-J-44-18 DEH I make my 8 in obedience to my investigation of external world. But ext. world sub & sup, is only my own inner uncon. world. That is why the mandala which works for me psychotherapeutically, works also for the world, scientifico-philosophically!
I have experimentally shown (all unconsciously) that inner & outer are one, that the uncon world is the world!
Scientists discovering laws of nature, are finding the way their own uncon. Works. The resistance they find in nature, the contradiction to their own ideas, is not something other, but the higher-lower level resisting & correcting the levels.
This at last is why my diagrams work — because the express laws of the mind — which are its laws of the outer world.

My mandala history is surely unique, in a good way! The mandala was for me autonomously evolved from uncon & was therefore efficacious, but it was evolved as an intellectual instrument. Its efficacy for me is double, & neither function disturbs the other: they reinforce one another. J’s [Jung’s] patients must in c.s. mood think their mandalas somewhat rubbishy. I don’t.
